The Kings entered the 2018-2019 season with the all too persistent cloud of KANGZ dysfunction looming over the franchise, but with an up-and-down season came genuine moments of excitement, promise, and of course, a bit…

De'Aaron Fox (sore lower back) is expected to sit out of Wednesday's preseason game.
Fox is looking to get ready for the regular-season opener. With Cory Joseph yet to return, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Yogi Ferrell, and Tyler Ulis will get the lions' share of PG minutes against the Suns.

Tyler Ulis (groin) will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the Suns.
Ulis is not guaranteed to make the roster and should not be considered in redraft leagues. Hopefully, he can get healthy so that he can prove that he belongs on the final roster. Expect to see a lot of Yogi Ferrell and Kyle Guy in Thursday's game.

Tyler Ulis (groin) did not practice on Tuesday.
Ulis is competing for the third-string point guard role with Yogi Ferrell. There isn't much fantasy value to be found here.

The Kings have chosen to guarantee Yogi Ferrell's $3.2 million salary for the upcoming season, per James Ham.
Ferrell couldn't get on the court much for the Kings last season and doesn't figure to this year with the addition of Cory Joseph. His fate was more or less sealed by the Kings waiving Frank Mason earlier today.

Yogi Ferrell played in 71 games during the 2018-19 season, averaging 15.0 mpg with 5.9 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.8 treys, and 0.5 steals contest.
Ferrell couldn't crack the top-300 and that came with the limited playing time with the Kings this year.

De’Aaron Fox (right foot soreness) left Friday’s game in the second quarter and will not return.
Look for Bogdan Bogdanovic to assume additional ball-handling duties while Yogi Ferrell will get more run. Fox finished the game with four points, an assist, a steal and a turnover in eight minutes.

Yogi Ferrell (right ankle sprain) is now available to play against the Rockets on Tuesday.
Ferrell only plays a minor role off the bench for the Kings, but with a small slate and a potential shootout with the Rockets on tap, he can theoretically be looked at as a hail mary dart throw for DFS. We wouldn't recommend him though.

The official injury report is listing Yogi Ferrell as questionable to face the Rockets on Tuesday due to a right ankle sprain.
Ferrell sustained the injury against the Spurs on Sunday and he is in danger of missing tonight’s action. Frank Mason and Cody Demps are the next in line but none of them has any value as long as De'Aaron Fox plays.
