Zhaire Smith (left ankle sprain) is being listed as available to play in Tuesday's game against the Warriors.

Smith may see a few minutes if Joel Embiid (questionable) can't go, but he is not on the fantasy radar right now.

Zhaire Smith (left ankle sprain) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Warriors.

On Saturday, Smith left his season debut with the Sixers early with a sprained ankle. Smith played just three minutes in that game and he's unlikely to get significant minutes even if he makes it back for Tuesday's matchup.

Zhaire Smith sprained his left ankle and finished Saturday's game with one assist in three minutes.

It was his first minutes with the Sixers this season so it was disappointing to see him leave early with an injury. Smith won't have an impact in standard leagues this season.

  • James Ennis III
    SF, Philadelphia Sixers

James Ennis (stomach illness) has been ruled out of Friday's matchup vs. the Rockets.

He missed Thursday's practice and was already doubtful heading into this one so this shouldn't come as a big surprise. The Sixers recalled Zhaire Smith from their G-League affiliate on Thursday and he might get some playing time for the first time this season.

    SF, Philadelphia Sixers

James Ennis is doubtful ahead of Friday's tilt vs. the Rockets as he deals with a stomach illness.

Ennis missed practice on Thursday so it doesn't come as a surprise that his chances of playing on Friday are in jeopardy. The Sixers might play Zhaire Smith for the first time this season as he was just recalled from their G League affiliate earlier in the day. Furkan Korkmaz and Shake Milton could also see an increase in playing time.

The Sixers have recalled Zhaire Smith from the G League on Thursday and he will be with the team for Friday's matchup vs. the Rockets.

Smith has been unable to crack the Sixers' rotation in his second season, after only playing in six games his rookie year. It is unclear if he will make his 2019-2020 season debut tomorrow. Smith can be ignored from a fantasy perspective until he earns himself a consistent rotation spot.

Zhaire Smith suffered a right leg laceration that required four sutures during a G League game on Friday.

Smith was expected to compete for minutes in the backcourt with the departure of JJ Redick, but it just hasn't happened. Dynasty managers can keep an eye on him but that's the extent of his fantasy relevance.

The Sixers recalled Zhaire Smith and Jonah Bolden from the G League on Wednesday.

Both Smith and Bolden have been shuttling to and from the Delaware Blue Coats. They do not have fantasy relevance at this time.

  • Jonah Bolden
    PF, Philadelphia Sixers

The 76ers recalled Jonah Bolden and Zhaire Smith from the G-League on Sunday.

Bolden has some fantasy appeal if Joel Embiid happens to miss any time but as of right now he'll just serve as reinforcements to the 76ers bench. Neither he or Smith carry much fantasy value as of right now.

Zhaire Smith was sent down to the Sixers' G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, on Wednesday.

Smith has not been able to crack the rotation so far this season after some speculation that he could be a primary back-up at the guard position. He may still have a shot at getting some minutes in the rotation if Matisse Thybulle, James Ennis and Furkan Korkmaz have bad performances or get injured. For now, he can be ignored in fantasy leagues outside of deep dynasty leagues.

  • Furkan Korkmaz
    SG, Philadelphia Sixers

The Sixers have brought back Furkan Korkmaz on a two-year minimum contract.

There were rumors that Korkmaz would head overseas after failing to make a positive impact in the postseason for the Sixers. However, at just 21 years old, he will continue to grow with the Sixers. There will be minutes off of the bench to be had if Korkmaz can beat out the likes of Zhaire Smith, Shake Milton and James Ennis.

Zhaire Smith had another nice Summer League game on Monday as he put up 18 points (8-of-19 FGs), five rebounds, three assists, two steals and a 3-pointer in 34 minutes in an 84-81 overtime loss to the Thunder.

Smith is off to a great start in Summer League and hopefully, he's finally fully healthy. He has loads of potential, but he happens to be on a loaded contender, making it tough for him to get enough minutes to matter this year in standard fantasy leagues.

Zhaire Smith notched 14 points on 4-of-9 shooting, adding four boards, two treys, one assist and one steal in 24 minutes on Saturday vs. the Celtics in Summer League.

Smith's rookie season was marred by a foot injury that eventually required surgery that sidelined him for much of 2018-19. To add injury to more injury, the rookie also experienced a strong allergic reaction to something he ate after he recovered from surgery. Yes, it was a rough season for sure. Smith has the makings of a talented scorer but will need to take his baby steps now, during his sophomore season. Keep an eye on him in the preseason.
